Biography

Tara Salomon, MS, CCC-SLP is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over a decade of experience in various aspects of Early Intervention. She earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Vanderbilt University with a specialty in pediatric hearing loss. She received her undergraduate degree in child development and psychology from Tufts University. Tara worked in Boston as a Developmental Therapist in Early Intervention before receiving her training in Speech-Language Pathology. She previously worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist at the Early Intervention Research Group at Northwestern University, studying and implementing parent-implemented language interventions for toddlers. During that time, Tara was part of an Autism diagnostic team, completing both virtual and in-person diagnostic assessments, in addition to training Early Intervention providers on diagnosing autism. In her free time, Tara enjoys cooking, hiking, running, and teaching caregivers infant massage.
